KGAF's SUMMER  SIZZLER  WINNER

Patti Gray of Gainesville won $100 from KGAF for submitting the closest entry to the
actual date and time the temperature reached 100 degrees for the first time in 2010
at the Gainesville Municipal Airport.

Gray guessed the temperature would reach 100 degrees at 3:37 p.m. Saturday, July 31. 
The actual time, according to the airport thermometer was 3:44 p.m.

Gray’s guess missed the mark by only 7 minutes.

It's official!  
The City of Gainesville has designated FM 3092 from U.S. Highway 82 to FM 678 as Radio Hill Road.  

The new signs were put in place the week of April 6, 2009.
